Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

OurFamilyGrid is a collaborative scheduling and planning tool that integrates user-created events with external calendar services, including Google Calendar and WhatsApp Business messaging. The Service is provided "as is."

3. Google Calendar Integration and User Data

By connecting your Google Calendar to the Service, you grant us permission to access and manage your calendar data as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree that your use of the Google Calendar API is governed by both these Terms and Google's Google Terms of Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account password and for restricting access to your computer and/or device.

3.1. WhatsApp Business Integration

By using the WhatsApp Bot feature and providing your phone number, you agree to the following:

• Voluntary Participation: WhatsApp integration is entirely optional. You choose to link your phone number and interact with our bot.
• WhatsApp Terms: Your use of WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Message Delivery: We use the WhatsApp Business Cloud API to send and receive messages. Message delivery is subject to WhatsApp's service availability.
• Service Conversations: All messages you send to our bot are considered "service conversations" (user-initiated) and are processed to execute your commands.
• No Spam: We will NOT send unsolicited marketing messages via WhatsApp unless you explicitly opt-in.
• Disconnection: You may disconnect WhatsApp integration at any time by removing your phone number from Settings → Profile or by blocking our WhatsApp Business number.
• Acceptable Use: You agree not to use the WhatsApp bot to:
• Send spam, abusive, or harassing messages
• Attempt to exploit or abuse the bot functionality
• Violate WhatsApp's terms of service
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Rate Limits: We may implement rate limits to prevent abuse. Excessive or automated bot usage may result in temporary or permanent suspension.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms, including:

• Submitting false or misleading information.
• Distributing viruses or any other harmful technology.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

6. Limitation of Liability
